This is a list I'm in the process of compiling of all the things I've found on the floor cleaning out people's cars so far. Lord have mercy, some of them are just nasty. Let the list commence.

Trash.

Toe nail clippings.

Dog fur - a lot of it.

Beer cans.

Loose pills.

Teeth.

Fire ants.

A wasp nest (with wasps).

Fleas.

Flies.

LOTS of money.

Half-eaten hamburgers.

A "tested positive" tuberculosis test.

Milk cartons that were sour.

Used diapers.

Blood.

Urine.

Floorboards soaked in alcohol.

Sprinkled laundry detergent. (it looked like Christmas)

A 12 gauge shot gun.

Not ten, not twenty, not forty, but forty two "Pine" scented car fresheners.

Mold.

Cigarette ash approximately half an inch deep on the floor.

Over 100 used cigarettes stuffed in the CD holder in the dash of the vehicle.

A big, shiny white stain. With a rag.

Sweaty gym socks.

The shoes those socks went in to.

Used gum.

Coffee in the floorboards.

Half an eaten bagel.

A banana peel.

The list shall continue.

We all Feel.

People seem to reap some sort of joy by hurting other people. We are all hurting inside.. why make it worse? Why cannot people seem to just bless people and in return be blessed? Is that such an unwise notion? I just can't believe how horrible some people can be. I'm hurting. The ones that care aren't there. No one is here. Where is God? Where is He. I just can't find Him anymore. A poet once described a walk on the beach with a man and God. The poet described about how the man and God's walk was the man's life on earth. The man looked back and saw only one set of footprints at the hard times in life. He asked why he was alone. God said he carried him. I wish I could feel something like that. It just seems like the more I hurt, the more I ask my manager for hours so I can avoid reality. Apparently I have a great worldy work ethic.

I'm hereby convinced that the world has forgotten how to love. Or statistically, how the word, "integrity" is defined. I will remind the world how to love by example. But hey, it's all going downhill anyways. I always tell myself my problems will go away if I leave the city, but people don't change on the major scale. If anything people get worse it seems.

I know deep down that God is an avid blogger. He gave us words. He gave us communication. He gave us fingers to type our bloggs with. Thefore:

I'm here, use me.

There. I posted it for God and the world to see. However, I won't be used by the world.

-Andrew.

Post 2. Call this my soap-box if you will.

It's a truth that people never really appreciate what they have until it's taken away from them. This also applies to people however the wording is slightly diferent. One never appreciates another, or looks past anothers flaws, until that person is taken away from them.

Mary Griffith, one of the greatest advocates of gay rights in North America, took this truth to heart when she lost her son due to suicide. When she found out that she had a gay son, she did everything in her power to "cure" him. The methods that were used were (but not limited to) psychology, pastoral reference, Bible memorization, and prayer. How interesting to see how after her son died, she was able to see through what she refered to as a flaw to a pure heart in her son. This eventually led her to The United States Congress in the early 1990s where she gave her story about how society molds the future of those around them, including homosexuals.

Why the big story? An unknown source once said, "a picture is worth a thousand words, however, one illustration is worth a thousand claims." Therefore, my claim is that one shouldn't judge a gay person saying that they're going to hell for sins that they're "living in". People have no right saying such things when they themselves are sinners as well. If every thought, deed, word or anything else they do indicitive of a verb-usage, was an arrow and the bulls eye on the target was perfection, do you think anyone has never missed a shot? I'd hardly think so. Therefore lets look at ourselves before we look at the faults of others.

This concludes my soap-box.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://thelifeofandrewnystrom.blogspot.com/2009/01/post-2-call-this-my-soap-box-if-you.html' title='Post 2. Hi, my name is Andrew.

Greetings all!

If you're reading this, either you're one of my friends checking up on my life, or you have stumbled across Google looking for my name or one of the labels in the post has caught you in your search field. So lucky you that you've happened across my writings. Here is the place where I shall update the world of the events of my life, past present and eventually the future, in their entirety.

At the writing of this entry, I am eighteen years of age. I live in North Carolina and I speak Spanish fluently. It's amazing to see how far I've come in five short years. From in fear, to in peace, from nothing to contentment, from sadness to joy. Just as matter can't come from nothing, my life can't come from natural circumstances. And I hope that it testifies to something greater than just coincidence, to the extent that it inspires the lucky, or perhaps in this case, providencial reader of my writings. I hope you enjoy.

The great novelist Victor Hugo once said, "The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved -- loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves." How true this statement is for my life. Don't we all desire someone to love us, not for what but for who we are? I believe that as humans, all we want is love. It's what we were designed for. To love and to be loved. As for me, I love people. Anyone that has ever met me has found that no matter what the circumstance I love them, because this is the measure by which I wish I could be given. This concludes Post 1.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://thelifeofandrewnystrom.blogspot.com/2009/01/post-1-hi-my-name-is-andrew.html' title='Post 1.
